Florida-licensed Construction Litigation Attorney

We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced attorney with a focus on construction and litigation ideal candidate must have 35 years of relevant experience in both state and federal court proceedings. Bankruptcy experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

The attorney will be engaged in a diverse range of legal activities including but not limited to:

• Drafting demand letters
  

• Drafting opinion letters
  

• Drafting construction demands
  

• Drafting court documents including pleadings discovery and motions
  

• Conducting and defending depositions
  

• Performing legal research
  

• Participating in hearings
  

• Communicating with opposing parties
  

• Participating in settlement negotiations
  

• Engaging with prospective clients
  

Requirements:

• Experience in Construction and Litigation (45 years preferred)
  

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  

• Know how to efile in state court and federal court (as a backup to the paralegal)
  

• Familiarity with LEDES billing
  

• Licensed in the state of Florida
