We are searching for anassociate attorney with at least 35years of experience practicing municipal transactional law matters.Cities and public agencies must balance budgets manage competing interests and serve their constituencies. Meeting all these needs requires a high level of regulatory and legal knowledge and experience as well as public relations and political finesse.

Ideal Candidate

• Ideal candidates should have experience drafting ordinances and resolutions.
• Comfortable dealing with open meeting laws land use and planning conflicts of interest free speech regulations public safety issues and election law matters.
• Experience handling public meetings is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be licensed to practice in CA and good standing
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 3 5 yearsof Municipal Transactional Law

Location:

• This position may be remote but the attorney is expected to travel to court and client meetings as necessary.

Salary/Compensation:

• $120000 $180000
• The salary within that range will depend on the selected candidates years of practice and experience.
