Were seeking a Junior Operations/Research Analyst to support the Special Immigration Visa (SIV) program within the Department of Defense. In this role youll work closely with DoD clients to validate information analyze data across various databases and provide critical support for Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (ASIV) and Refugee Referral Processing.
Data Analysis & Validation: Support the ASIV and Refugee Referral Processing through data collection verification and transmittal using webbased portals. Ensure all submissions are complete and accurate.
Administrative Support: Provide endtoend support for the ASIV process including managing telephonic and email interactions with Afghan nationals employers and coordinating with the Department of State (DoS).
Research & Reporting: Conduct research for cases requiring additional documentation and provide detailed reports on program progress identifying areas for improvement.
Vendor Engagement: Onboard and train vendors to use the webbased portal effectively managing user accounts and ensuring compliance with system requirements.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy in data handling and system management.
Experience: 5 years of experience in requirements process or data analysis.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel (Smartsheet preferred) SQL and data visualization tools. Experience with statistical programming languages and data warehousing.
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance.
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities and a history of successful data management and process improvement initiatives.
