Job Title: Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Position Overview:
- Role: The candidate will provide orthopedic trauma care performing procedures like small sutures splinting fractures and joint reductions (hip shoulder knee ankle).
- Environment: The role involves both clinical and surgical settings collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive orthopedic trauma care.
- Perform specific procedures (small sutures splinting joint reductions).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and postoperative care.
- Participate in the oncall rotation for orthopedic trauma service.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must have a current and valid NP or PA license in Texas.
- Certification: ONPC or PAC certification preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in orthopedic trauma care including specific procedures is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills effective communication ability to work in a fastpaced environment and a willingness to learn.
