Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented HR Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources department. In this role you will assist with the daily operations of HR functions and duties providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the HR department. Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR team including scheduling meetings preparing documents and handling correspondence.
- Employee Records: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all HRrelated data.
- Recruitment Assistance: Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings screening resumes scheduling interviews and coordinating new hire orientations.
- Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new employees including preparing onboarding materials collecting necessary documentation and conducting orientations.
- Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs including enrollment changes and answering employee inquiries about benefits.
- Payroll Support: Provide assistance with payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Employee Communication: Prepare and distribute internal communications such as memos newsletters and announcements related to HR policies events and updates.
- Compliance: Help ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws by maintaining records and supporting HR audits.
- Training Coordination: Assist with the coordination of employee training sessions and workshops including scheduling preparing materials and tracking attendance.
- Event Planning: Assist in organizing company events employee recognition programs and other HRrelated activities.
- File Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital HR files ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous administrative experience preferably in an HR setting.
- Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software or databases.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive customerfocused attitude.
- Preferred Qualifications:
