- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly group management accounts with fluctuation analysis.
- Ensure timely preparation of quarterly consolidation and report for the announcement to Bursa Malaysia.
- Assist in preparation of the Group s budgeting and forecasting process.
- Oversee plan and actively manage the treasury function of the Group.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audit and ensure timely issuance of audited financial statements.
- Ensure timely coordination and preparation of the Group s Annual report.
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns of the company and subsidiaries.
- Coordinate and oversee the Group s Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Be part of the team responsible for establishing reviewing and updating the group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
- Liaise with internal audit on subsidiaries quarterly internal audit report.
- Assist in ensuring improvement in accounting systems and processes.
- Analyse the monthly results of the business units and provide advice to improve the efficiency of the business units operations.
- Establish review and update of the groups corporate governance policy which is in line with the best practice recommended by Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance (MCCG) issued by Securities Commission of Malaysia.
- Prepare Corporate Presentation deck for corporate briefing for investors relations.
- Perform any other Ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
Requirements
- Degree in accounting/finance with professional certs such as ACCA CPA MIA.
- At least five years of relevant experience in the field is required.
- Knowledgeable in Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a bonus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skill to lead a team of subordinates.
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master s degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred. 5-7 years of experience in talent management, HR, or a related field. Proven track record in designing and implementing talent management programs. Strong understanding of talent management principles and practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HR software and talent management systems. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
