Tasks
- Add your valuable perspective as a materials engineer into the assessment evaluation and supervision of the manufacturing processes
- Analyse deviations in material manufacturing and develop corrective measures
- Participate in the qualification of material suppliers
- Support various engineering departments in material selection using internal and external material databases
- Research material for future applications in the field of turbomachinery
- Collaborate with internal departments such as quality assurance design calculation and procurement
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in the field of materials engineering (metallic materials) metallurgy or equivalent degree
- Initial professional experience in materials engineering desirable
- Knowledge in areas such as steels Nialloys Alalloys casting forging corrosion and ultrasonic testing
- Ability for analytical thinking and independent learning in new subject areas
- Excellent German and English language skills in writing and speaking
- Willingness to travel
- Team and communication skills
