Our Mission

At Terra One we accelerate the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure by developing and implementing innovative solutions. Our initial focus is on battery storage a crucial component for establishing a flexible and environmentally friendly power grid. By providing energy when it is most needed we help improve the reliability and efficiency of the power grid while simultaneously reducing CO2 emissions. Equally important to our mission is our AIbased energy trading in the European market which works hand in hand with our battery storage solutions.

Our Team

The energy trading unit is responsible for optimizing assets across all markets balancing renewables and proprietary trading. We trade short term power algorithmically in an expanding geographical scope and have a highly technical team of veteran software engineers leading AI experts and power trading professionals.

Tasks

Your Tasks

• Building and maintaining our trading system and all supporting systems (data layer for timeseries and nontimeseries data CRM and much more)
• Create new concepts and flows together with the trading team to continuously improve our systems
• Setup and maintain cloud infrastructures for high availability applications
• Take ownership for communicating with external service providers to build and maintain API connections
• Setup and maintain monitoring systems for both technical and business monitoring as well as reporting exports
• Support the trading team for system and infrastructure maintenance and possibly python development for the algo trading and ML models

• Fluent in English German is a plus
• Your homebase should be Berlin for better collaboration. We are working in a hybrid model

Qualifications

• University degree in computer or natural sciences mathematics or economics
• Extensive experience withNodeJs & TypeScript relevant libraries like expressJS & zod
• Extensive experience with databases (noSQL & SQL MongoDB PostgreSQL etc.)
• Extensive experience with system integrations external APIs of various types (REST SOAP GraphQL etc.) messaging systems (Kafka RabbitMQ) streaming microservice architectures and highload/highfrequency applications.
• Experience with React & TypeScript
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes github & git
• Experience with trading systems of all kind is a big plus
• Experience with Python ML statistical modeling is a plus
