Tasks

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees addressing and resolving inquiries concerns and conflicts in a fair and timely manner. Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
• Maintain accurate employee records including contracts personal information and performance reviews. Manage HR databases and systems to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Ensure the companys HR policies procedures and practices comply with German labour laws and regulations. Provide guidance and updates on legal requirements and changes.
• Oversee and manage the payroll process ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries taxes and other deductions. Collaborate with the finance department to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Support the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding of new employees. Ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new hires.
• Foster team collaboration and actively work on building a supportive and inclusive work culture that drives company growth and success.
• Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 years of work experience as an HR Manager HR Coordinator or similar role preferably in a startup or fastpaced environment.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations in Germany. Indepth knowledge of German employment regulations.
• Proven experience in payroll management and HR administration.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
• Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
• Highly motivated selfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (native or advanced professional experience) and English.
