Job Purpose:
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced General Accountant to manage the expenses side of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely recording analysis and reporting of financial transactions maintain the integrity of financial data and support informed decisionmaking. The role involves budgeting tax preparation financial auditing and cash flow management to ensure financial transparency efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce expense revenue asset liability and capital account entries and assess account information.
- Support financial transactions by auditing documents such as quotations invoices and receipts.
- Create and approve purchase orders manage payments and ensure timely recording.
- Track supplier advances and supervise regular accounting processes including journal entries and monthly closures.
- Conduct monthly intercompany receivables and payables reconciliation.
- Implement account payable checks vendor KYC bank confirmations and vendor trade license checks.
- Oversee accounting reconciliation processes including bank and prepaid account reconciliations.
- Develop monthly and quarterly budgetary plans for the department.
- Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Review and improve financial policies and control systems.
- Coordinate internal and external audits implementing findings to enhance financial processes.
- Administer banking transactions and oversee data recording procedures.
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX run monthly depreciation of noncurrent assets and maintain uptodate noncurrent asset registers.
- Handle VAT effects and quarterly VAT filing for each subsidiary in the group.
Qualifications:
- ACCA MBA ACMA or a bachelors degree in finance & accounting.
- 68 years of postqualification experience in a reputable organization.
- Strong communication skills and reliability.
- Indepth knowledge of accounting regulations including IAS IFRS and GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software like NetSuite SAP /4 Hana and Speed Auto System.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and expert handling of general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail analytical skills and an aptitude for numbers.
- Awareness of business trends and updated knowledge in Accounting & Finance.
