Job Description

Job Title: National Sales and Business Development Lead (Credit and Loan Fintech)
Location: Lagos Nigeria
Type: Fulltime

Our client is a leading financial services provider specializing in offering salarybacked loans to government employees in Nigeria. The organization is committed to delivering innovative financial solutions and ensuring financial inclusion for customers.

Due to expansion we seek a dynamic and experienced National Sales and Business Development Lead to join the team and drive our national sales strategy and business development initiatives.

Job Summary:
The National Sales and Business Development Lead will be responsible for developing and executing national sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth across Nigeria. This includes leading the national sales team building and managing relationships with key stakeholders and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales and business development within the financial services sector with a strong understanding of credit and loan products.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
Lead manage and motivate the national sales team to achieve sales targets and performance goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets for salarybacked loans on a national scale.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners and regulatory bodies.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute national sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Prepare and present sales reports forecasts and strategic plans to senior management and the board of directors.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
Stay uptodate with industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively manage opportunities and risks.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or a related field. AMaster s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development within thefinancial services industry preferably in credit and loan businesses.
Proven track record of achieving national sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong knowledge of sales principles practices and techniques.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Indepth understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory environment in Nigeria.
