Role Summary
We seek a highly skilled and detailoriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be critical in providing financial insights and supporting decisionmaking processes through detailed analysis and reporting.
Reporting Structure
This role will report to the Director of Finance and other Senior Executive Team members/designates.
Critical Accountabilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts; monitor actual performance against budget.
Data Analysis: Analyse financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast identifying key drivers and potential risks/opportunities.
US Payroll:Processing and administrating US Payroll
Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis to evaluate business initiatives and projects identifying costsaving opportunities.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards; assist in internal and external audits.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather financial information and support their financial needs.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Qualification & Experience
Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. CPA CFA or equivalent designation is an asset.
Experience: Minimum of X years of experience in financial analysis accounting or a related role.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks) is preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across departments.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
