We are looking for a CAD Manager who wants to step into our team and help us step up to a better CAD experience. This position is responsible for technically leading a CAD department of CAD Designers who do most of their work in AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Vault. Industrial control panel designs are completed using AutoCAD Electrical. Controlled drawings and standards are kept in Autodesk Vault. This position is responsible for coordinating work for up to 10 CAD Designers.


Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineering in the design and documentation of electrical schematics PI&Ds and panel layouts for various projects.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures ensuring compliance and enforcement.
• Support productivity enhancements and customizations including the implementation of automated quality checks.
• Provide technical expertise for the seamless transfer of CAD data to the Production CNC machine.
• Assist in training internal users on corporate CAD standards software updates and best practices to improve efficiency and performance.
• Offer production and technical CAD support for all CAD software across the organization.
• Facilitate regular CAD meetings to share new information and updates with the CAD Group.
• Efficiently allocate CAD Designer resources to appropriate projects optimizing workload distribution.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills promoting effective collaboration and teamwork.
• Excel in managing multiple tasks concurrently ensuring timely delivery of projects and optimal productivity.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. 2Year degree in CAD Technology.
2. 10 years Experience using AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical.
3. Experience with UL508A Control Panel design is essential.
4. Servantleadership attitude is preferred.

Physical Demands of Position
Seeing color perception hearing listening clear speech dexterity in hands driving ability to travel distances for meetings and projects to meet deadlines.

Working Conditions
Standard office environment: frequent use of personal computer facsimile and copy machines along with other office equipment.
