We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining troubleshooting and repairing a variety of engineering systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Were looking to work with several technicians in several fields of engineering we are open to electrical and electronics mechanical information technology telecommunications Audio/Visual and media environmental and safety Construction and building technicians

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

    • Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and repair of engineering systems and equipment.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
    • Replace or repair defective components ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
  2. Installation and Calibration:

    • Install new equipment and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
    • Calibrate instruments and systems to ensure accurate performance and compliance with technical requirements.
  3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

    • Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients addressing and resolving issues promptly.
    • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of service activities including repairs maintenance and parts used.
    • Prepare detailed reports on technical issues service activities and equipment performance.
  5. Compliance and Safety:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards while performing tasks.
    • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  6. Client Interaction:

    • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Offer technical advice and recommendations to clients to optimize the performance of their systems.
  7. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to address complex issues and improve service processes.
    • Participate in training and development activities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates degree or technical diploma in Engineering Technology Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of X years of experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role preferably within an engineering consulting environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems. Experience with specialized engineering equipment is advantageous.
  • ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Safety: Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to equipment maintenance and repair.

Working Conditions:

  • May require occasional travel to client sites.
  • Ability to work in various environments including industrial and field settings.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours if needed.

Job Type:

  • Full time

Pay:

  • $30.00 $45.00 per hour

Expected hours:

  • 40 hours per week
