This is a remote position.
The Data Officer will be responsible for managing and analyzing data to support the organization s objectives. This includes ensuring data quality developing data collection tools and providing insights through data analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Officer will be responsible for managing and analyzing data to support the organization s objectives. This includes:
- Collecting cleaning and maintaining datasets.
- Ensuring data integrity and security.
- Developing and implementing data management protocols.
- Analyzing data to identify trends and insights.
- Preparing reports and visualizations to communicate findings.
- Supporting decisionmaking processes with datadriven insights.
- Providing technical support for datarelated issues.
- Maintaining and updating data systems and software.
- Working closely with other departments to understand data needs.
- Collaborating with external partners on data projects.
- Participating in meetings to provide datarelated input.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management and analysis.
- Proficiency in data collection tools (e.g. BlueData KoBo Toolbox Survey CTO QGIS)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Basic understanding of statistics (e.g. Central Tendency Descreptive Statisdcis)
- Experience in data manipulation and analysis using programming languages such as Python and R is a plus.
- Robust data analysis skills using Excel Pivot table
- Familiarity in data analysis tools (e.g. SQL Python R and SPSS)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
