Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Manages the flow of the delivery of materials to customers through the management of pick tickets before and after deliveries.
2. Opens and Closing out orders in the computer system that have shipped.
3. Assisting customers clients vendors and potential customers with inquiries. Including responds to telephone inquiries from customers regarding delivery of shipments
4. Processes UPS FED EX and other shipments.
5. Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time for each delivery to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
6. Compares/Identify information and counts weighs or measures products of incoming and outgoing to ensure Bill of Landing.
7. Confers with sales coordinators to confirm status of scheduled projects.
8. Prepares shipping/receiving documents. Maintains appropriate documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 1 year of related experience (required)
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Computer Knowledge (MS office) (Required)
• Knowledge of FEDEX UPS software (preferred)
• Valid DL or ID
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) (Preferred)
• Organization Skills (Required)
• 35 WPM type
• Inventory (preferred)
