Evac Group is looking for a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to join our Sourcing and Procurement team. This role is critical in managing and developing a designated category of products and components ensuring alignment with our overall Sourcing & Procurement Strategy and Policies. The Category Manager will have commercial accountability for their category focusing on strategic and tactical sourcing planning supplier management and driving key business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies based on the companys overall sourcing strategy and policy guidelines.
• Supplier Management: Ensure effective management of categoryrelated suppliers maintaining strong relationships to secure material availability and performance.
• Commercial Negotiations: Lead commercial contracting and negotiations with suppliers securing favorable terms and ensuring cost efficiency.
• Cost & Risk Management: Oversee category cost management monitor supplier performance and manage associated risks to ensure seamless operations.
• Performance & Target Achievement: Drive and achieve targets set by company management contributing to the overall success of the Sourcing & Procurement team.

Key Competencies:

• Educational Background:Minimum Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management with proven experience in global supplier collaboration and negotiation.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and successfully implement category strategies.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge in Supply Chain Business Total Cost Negotiation Finance and Legal (Contracting).
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and manage internal and external pressures effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Highlevel analytical skills with the capability to drive business decisions.
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a proactive approach to driving change.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent people skills with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
• Industry Knowledge: Technical understanding and experience in an industrial supply chain environment.
