Pay: $35.25 $43.85 DOE Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient Infusion Nurse to join our Cancer Center team. In this role you will provide highquality care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety comfort and education throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies as prescribed by oncologists.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects related to treatments.
- Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate and uptodate medical records.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans potential side effects and selfcare strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in maintaining a clean safe and organized treatment environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in oncology nursing.
- Provide emotional support and resources to patients and families throughout their treatment process.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NH state license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) is a plus.
- Previous experience in oncology required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
