We are hiring for a wellestablished local company that provides flexible vanracking solutions for todays LCV market. They create custommade van storage systems shelving and drawers.

Our client encourages applications from exmilitary personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. This role is installing basic electrical parts and helping the auto electricians carry out the full installations.

Location:

Corby.

Shifts:

4 DAY WEEK.

39hour working week.

Monday Thursday 6:30am 4.:45pm.

3day long weekend Fridays are available for Overtime x 1.3.

2 x 15minute paid breaks!

1 x 30minute unpaid break.

Job type:

The work is ongoing and will lead to longterm work for the right candidates.

Rate of pay:

12.75/ph.

Tasks

Duties and Responsibilities for the Electrical Vehicle Fitter:

Assembling and fitting of all electrical components to work vans for example BT / SKY / RAC commercial vans.

The completion of function checks upon installation in compliance with company build quality standards and ISO standards.

The completion of all relevant documentation including checklists inspection/test sheets.

Ensuring that all work completed complies with relevant Health and Safety and legislation. Diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting of electrical build issues as they arise.

Testing the feasibility of new products processes and procedures.

To undergo training to adhere to existing work practices methods procedures undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.

Ideally qualified to NVQ level 3 within a vehicle electrician field of expertise. (not essential)

Responsible for the recording of working hrs on specific jobs through the MES system and attendance hours to facilitate payment.

To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function as required by the Company.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications for the Electrical Vehicle Fitter:

Ideally youll have knowledge of electrical operations/processes within the automotive industry ideally qualified to NVQ level 3 within a vehicle electrician field of expertise.

Develop skills/ability to carry out electrical fitting/assembly tasks on commercial vehicles.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a cando attitude.

Willingness to always look at ways in which processes can be improved upon.

Ability to be able to read electrical diagrams and have experience of problemsolving techniques to resolve onthejob issues in the correct manner.

Following training to have the ability to complete operations in standard targeted times.
