What are the primary responsibilities this person will have on your team Train coach support EOL Ford/UAW personnel on vehicle diagnostics and repair activities across the plant develop technical training information coaching the fixing of the cars try this try that some travel required big potential for OT (Minimal 10 OT hours per week Have some Trainers working 12 hour days 7 days a week). Bosch has training centers in Kansas City Chicago Kentucky Mexico China and Thailand.
CAP manufacture Explorers and Aviators; Gas and Hybrid (No EV yet).

What are the key things this person should have experience doing Has found success in getting people for this role who have previously worked on the Ford hotline those who work at a Ford dealership/have been exposed to the technology/Ford processes assertive. They will be working with electronic modules wiring and schematics.

What are the mandatory / nonnegotiable skills this person MUST have to be considered
Ideally would like to have Ford hotline experience or prior Ford Dealership experience working on vehicles. Must have solid electrical diagnostic experience. Prior training experience is a huge plus. Good attitude able to train patience can go slowly/easily knowledge of automotive systems good verbal/written communication skills. This person will be teaching repair skills to UAW employees at the end of the assembly line at Ford. Training will be provided in 6 sessions two weeks for each session 12 weeks total for training. ASE certifications are a huge plus. Strong knowledge of scan tools know the codes multimeters etc. They will be teaching on electrical problems only on the vehicles.

Job Title:
Automotive Plant Trainer

Position description:
Present automotive technical material to support new vehicle model and curriculum training at Ford assembly plants. Train coach and support EOL Ford/UAW personnel on vehicle diagnostics and repair activities at the plant.

Specific activities and tasks of the Job:

1. Train EOL plant employees on proper vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
2. Develops or updates technical training information based on the end user needs client specifications/expectations and the current product information. This could be to support new vehicle model systems or updates to standard curriculum courses.
3. Researches product information to complete needs assessment for training development.
4. Consults with various client contacts (external) and subject matter experts (internal and external) to gather product specific information.
5. High level of proficiency in developing technical training courses in multiple authoring environments based on the level of equity assigned.
6. Develops technical information using client supplied resources such subject matter experts product teardowns and engineering schematics. Work directly with customer on vehicle and to create vehicle bugs.
7. Ability to work on diverse tasks and projects with minimal guidance.
8. Participates in meetings with clients and coworkers.
9. Advises Project Manager/Team Lead of project status and potential issues.
10. Completes various additional assignments as directed by Project Manager/Team Lead.
11. Work directly with customer contacts to guide them through problem resolution.

Required skills knowledge and abilities:

1. Must have Electric vehicle and electric vehicle battery technology knowledge.
2. Must have thorough knowledge of automotive systems including but not limited to electrical engine controls transmission controls electronic stability control systems antilock brake systems and network communications.
3. ASE Certifications recommended.
4. Assess the diagnostic capabilities of automotive technicians.
5. Knowledge of automotive systems theory in any or all of the following areas:
   • Electronic and electrical fundamentals.
   • Mechanical procedures.
   • Modern automotive systems.
   • Automatic transmissions systems.
   • Modern light truck diesel applications preferred.
6. Assess tooling needs of the automotive technician.
7. Train automotive technicians on proper diagnostic and repair techniques.
8. Ability to read comprehend and follow complicated verbal and written communication (i.e. client communications engineering draft material electronic module design specifications and subsystem schematics).
9. Ability to communicate written and verbal ideas in a clear concise manner.
10. Ability to utilize creative problem resolution skills to handle client related concerns.
