Job Description

We are hiring an Advanced Nurse
Practitioner Acute Oncology Nursing in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.

We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do

Key Responsibilities
  • As a key healthcare provider exhibiting accountability and responsibility for professional practice in the treatment of patients who come to the Acute Oncology Service
  • working together with the local stakeholder group and supervisor to determine the caseload and scope of practice for acute oncology
  • To evaluate diagnoses and inform autonomous advanced nursing care do a thorough holistic health assessment utilizing evidencebased frameworks policies procedures protocols and standards.
  • To identify normal atrisk and subnormal states of health synthesize and interpret assessment information paying particular attention to history physical findings and diagnostic data. This will help to foster a culture of quality care.
  • Actively seeking input on experiences and recommendations for improvement from families carers and those receiving care.
  • Putting new practices into effect while working with coworkers and patients by reaching agreements and negotiating.
  • Give employees guidance support and advice as needed.



Requirements

  • Hold a General Nurse registration with the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board.
  • Possess a wide range of clinical experience as an oncology nurse.
  • To carry out the duties effectively candidates must have the necessary knowledge skills and abilities including a high standard of suitability and clinical professional and administrative capability.
