Our client is seeking a litigation attorney with 5 years of experience to join its Fidelity Surety & Coverage business unit. This position will be part of the surety/construction team in Collin County TX.
The surety groups practice focuses on litigation in both state and federal courts counseling dispute resolution and contract drafting and negotiation. All candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skillsets and experience:
- Practical or legal knowledge regarding the construction industry
- Prior experience with construction disputes mechanics liens and/or preparing and negotiating construction contracts and other construction documents (preferred but not required)
- The ability to work in a collaborative teamoriented environment with other attorneys team members consultants and clients
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials
The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $165000 $190000 annually based upon a fulltime work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors including but not limited to employee qualifications relevant experience skill sets training internal equity and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
