This is a remote position.
Modernizing the digital landscape for people planning will have significant effect on our coworkers customers and business resilience. We are accelerating the implementation of people planning tools through a global program aimed at uplifting digital solutions and the coworker experience spanning over all people planning capabilities.
People planning processes/workforce management and connected digital tools are critical to the successful efficient and compliant operations of Our organization. They ensure that coworkers are available at the right time at the right place to support our operational needs; that schedules are created made available and kept updated based on coworkers availability; and that time cards are created reviewed and are based on correct salary payment.
The scope of the consultant services is to:
Solution Architect (UKG Pro / Legion WfM)
We believe you are a deliveryoriented team player who thrives in a global valuesbased setting. You have solid experience in implementing UKG Pro or Legion globally and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. You are excellent in advising and building trustful relationships with your stakeholders as well as coaching project team members seeing the bigger picture and hence being able to proactively manage challenges and seizing opportunities.
We are embarking on a global rollout of Workforce management solutions and new ways of working. As UKG/Legion Solution Architect you ll be responsible for ensuring the WfM Architecture fits into the overall People Planning Solution architecture ensuring the solution design meets global and country needs. You ll be working with 3rd Party providers and internal engineering & product teams to deliver to program timelines budget and quality standards. You ll also be accountable for a successful transition from program to BAU from a solution architect/technical perspective.
We are seeking a proactive individual familiar with working on global UKG / Legion digital implementations who likes making the complex simple and enjoys working as part of a team. Requirements
- Provides advancedlevel knowledge of the UKG Pro / Legion Solution and leads all aspects of workforce management (WFM) configurations implementations modifications and upgrades of time and attendance initiatives in collaboration with 3rd party provider and within the overall parameters of the People Planning program.
- Ensures that gathering and defining requirements are translated into technical requirements. Play an instrumental role in gap analysis and developing solutions that meet global and country needs.
- Drives the creation of detailed functional and technical design documents including test plans test cases user training documents and implementation documentation
- Facilitates as required complex working sessions with multiple stakeholders across Ingka and with 3rd party provider(s) enhancing the global WfM solution for IKEA including defining strategic and tactical objectives and tailoring these to meet specific needs as necessary
- Analyses complex data or facts and summarizes and presents findings in a compelling way
- Design a solution that best suits customer needs and make recommendations for changes to help them to adopt industryrecommended practices
- Minimum of 12 years in IT and business systems with at least 5 years focused on WfM technologies. Experienced in implementing globally and preferably with experience in Europe APAC and North America.
- Experience implementing the following WfM Modules: Timekeeping Absence Advanced Scheduling and Analytics including in & outbound integrations
- Minimum 5 years of experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Certified in WfM with at least 5 years of related experience.
- Ability to work on complex fastpaced projects in a collaborative team setting.
- Broad knowledge of labor management HCM scheduling leave and attendance experience in multiple countries is preferable

- Senior level tech experience with either UKG or Legion technologies
- Multicountry project experience
- Personality to challenge and engage highlevel stakeholders
