Comfort Inn is searching for a FullTime Front Desk Agent to join our team. Working together with the General Manager and other staff the Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing outstanding guest service and ensuring that hotel standards are maintained at all times. The role includes greeting guests and providing checkin & checkout service accepting payments and guaranteeing excellence is evident in every customer communication. This position is crucial to the success of the hotel as the image we present to our guests and the community reflects the firstrate reputation of the Comfort Inn brand. Our ideal candidate has hospitality experience great customer service skills and is seeking a longterm fulltime position offering professional growth and development.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Anticipate guests needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests however busy and at whatever time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
  • Process all guest checkins & checkouts.
  • Verify registration card information with the guest.
  • Obtain backup information for guest credit/payment method and input into system; collect cash when designated.
  • Handle overbooked or walkin guests.
  • Accept and record wakeup call requests.
  • Monitor send and distribute guest faxes.
  • Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e. special requests amenity delivery).
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
  • Match the bucket check to inhouse guest ledger report and report discrepancies to Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

  • Eighteen years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year hotel/motel front desk or guest service experience.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Stay calm under pressure and adapt to quickly changing hotel and customer needs.
  • Scheduling flexibility.
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills.


Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales/front desk management Proven track record of achieving sales targets Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Reliable transportation and flexibility with working hours Proximity to Fort Payne, Alabama
