Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Operations Manager to oversee and streamline our daily operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our business operations run smoothly and efficiently while also contributing to the strategic development and growth of the organization. This role requires strong leadership abilities excellent problemsolving skills and a deep understanding of operational processes across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing operations improving productivity and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:

    • Manage and oversee daily operations across multiple departments ensuring that business processes are efficient and effective.
    • Develop implement and continuously improve operational policies procedures and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead mentor and develop a team of operations staff fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals and expectations for team members providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
    • Identify training and development needs within the team and coordinate appropriate training programs.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to reduce costs increase efficiency and enhance quality.
    • Lead initiatives to automate and optimize operations leveraging technology and best practices.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive operational improvements and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Resource Management:

    • Manage resources effectively including staff equipment and materials to ensure optimal utilization and costefficiency.
    • Oversee inventory management ensuring that supplies and materials are available when needed without excessive overstocking.
    • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Budget & Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the operations budget ensuring that expenditures are in line with financial goals.
    • Monitor and control operational costs identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
    • Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts related to operations providing insights to senior management.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant laws regulations and industry standards.
    • Identify and assess potential risks related to operations implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
    • Oversee health and safety protocols within the workplace ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Project Management:

    • Lead and manage operational projects from inception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and on budget.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives deliverables and timelines.
    • Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks that arise.
  • Customer & Vendor Relations:

    • Maintain strong relationships with key customers vendors and partners to ensure smooth operations and high levels of service.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
    • Address and resolve any operational issues or disputes with external parties.
  • Strategic Planning:

    • Contribute to the development of the company s strategic goals and objectives aligning operational strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on operational trends challenges and opportunities.
    • Participate in longterm planning and decisionmaking processes helping to shape the future direction of the company.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
    • Proven track record of managing and optimizing operations in industryspecific experience if applicable.
    • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or similar.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
    • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Proficiency in operations management software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.


Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
