What you will do
- Lead the Oversight and Effectiveness team focusing on enhancing team performance and firstline operational processes.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance identifying efficiencies and improving effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance on financial crime prevention processes regulatory compliance and privacy risks.
- Oversee change management initiatives and challenge proposed changes and controls.
- Extend subject matter expertise to provide constructive feedback and contribute to training initiatives.
- Conduct oversight of outsourced operational activities to ensure compliance with Klarnas expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the SAR Gateway Team in conducting highquality SAR reviews flagging critical cases for MLRO review and responding to law enforcement requests.
Who you are
- 8 years of experience in financial institutions preferably with some experience in fintechs.
- Experience in AML operational processes particularly around alert management and investigations.
- Ideally experience in 2nd line operations though 1st line experience is acceptable.
- Experience managing teams and evidence of process improvement.
- Familiarity with other regulatory compliance and privacy risks.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to drive efficiencies and improvements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to change.
Awesome to have
- Experience in change management and process control improvements.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial crime prevention.
- Proven track record in overseeing outsourced operational activities.
- Ability to provide expert guidance and constructive feedback to operational teams.
- Experience with SAR reviews and responding to law enforcement requests.
