SAP Test Engineer with German language

SAP Test Engineer remote with occasional work in the office in Frankfurt.

Context:

The SAP ISI project focuses on implementing IT solutions for SAP applications within the technical domain of Maintenance of Rolling Stock and Facilities which includes the maintenance of rail vehicles and systems.

The services involve deriving and designing test cases from the requirements of various business areas for the development and enhancement of SAP solutions specifically in the maintenance domain for rolling stock and components.

Services Required:

Test Case Development:

• Derive test cases from the business requirements for new or enhanced SAP ISI processes.
• Create detailed test scenarios and test cases based on existing requirements.
• Revise and consolidate existing test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Functional and Regression Testing:

• Execute functional tests as part of the regular release cycle and perform regression tests.
• Document test results and identify errors providing detailed reports on test outcomes.
• Advisory Services:
• Advise the client on test design and best practices for quality assurance in SAP environments.
• Gather technical input for test cases in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Technical Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

SAP Module Experience:

At least 3 years of practical experience within the last 6 years with proof of at least one project reference over at least 6 months in a large SAP application (guideline: >5000 users and >50 technical interfaces).

Knowledge of at least one SAP module (e.g. MM PP PM).

Software Quality Assurance:

Certification such as ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or proven experience in at least two projects related to software quality assurance.

Experience with test management and ALM tools such as Test Suite Solution Manager.

Communication Skills:

Must possess strong communication and moderation skills with German language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Desirable Skills:

Additional SAP Experience:

Practical experience with Jira and Confluence ideally within the context of SAP applications.

Maintenance Knowledge:

Basic experience or knowledge in the area of maintenance specifically in the context of SAP solutions for rolling stock and facility maintenance
