Job Description

Horizons is looking for a Head of Global Sales focused on the Electrical Manufacturing field to join one of our international clients a Danish company key international player in the low voltage enclosures manufacturing industry.

This position will play a key role in leading the global expansion plans of the company reporting to the Managing Director.

Contract & Location

  • Contractor agreement for the longterm projects.
  • Fullremote opportunity based anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business plan and strategy for sales and marketing of company products to ensure group sales targets.
  • Achieve predefined international sales targets.
  • Set short and longterm international sales strategies.
  • Prepare and execute action plan for effective search for new leads.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Manage exhibitions.
  • Get specified in heavy industry projects and sectors. Oil and gas Marine Transport Underground etc.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with top 5 customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate prices with customers in agreement with Managing Director.
  • Negotiate distributor and customer agreements.
  • Has signing authority on agreements and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Create and conduct company and product presentations to leads and customers.
  • Manage the Sales team to reach their targets.
  • Cooperate with the Customer Care Manager so the customer care teams can provide the best possible service to customers.
  • Develop global commercial budget and control expenses to meet budget.
  • Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Work closely with the Production Customer Care and R&D teams to ensure customer requirements are met on a timely basis.
  • Provide weekly feedback to the Managing Director.
  • Provide quarterly written reports to the Managing Director.

Qualification & Work Experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in the low voltage enclosures industry.
  • International experience in the industry dealing with projects in Europe Middle East and Africa.
  • At least 4 years of experience managing sales teams from 6 people onwards.
