Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of the PACS and VNA infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient image storage and retrieval.
- Provide technical support to radiologists, clinicians, and other end-users for PACS/VNA-related issues, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
- Collaborate with other healthcare information systems (HIS) and radiology information systems (RIS) to ensure seamless integration with the PACS & VNA.
- Implement and enforce security protocols for PACS & VNA, including access controls, encryption, and regular security audits to safeguard patient information.
- Develop and implement robust backup and disaster recovery plans for PACS & VNA data to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Monitor and analyze PACS & VNA performance metrics, identifying and addressing issues to optimize system performance.
