What you will be doing:

• Develop test and implement repeatable processes to provision cloudbased infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop code using enterprisegrade source code control artifact management testing change management and user documentation.
• Develop test and implement APIs to consume IT services (e.g. Active Directory DNS).
• Analyze cloudbased services to determine how to automate their deployment consistent with company policies and standards; implement automated provisioning of these new services.
• Implement Security and Compliance Controls.
• Develop and publish technical standards.
• Actively participate in an Agile infrastructure product team including daily standups demos retrospectives sprint planning etc.
• Perform work consistent with agreedupon team goals and priorities; assist team members as requested or required.
• Build test automation suites to ensure the quality of products.
• Design code unit test debug and document programs.
• Customize cloud software based on research and customer needs.
• Prepare detailed specifications for programs to be written designed coded tested and debugged.
• Consult with users and develop business relationships; integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation.
• Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts anticipate/identify issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implement corrective actions.
• Perform fullstack application development.
• Test and deliver cloud software on time.
• Provide maintenance of developed cloud software including regression testing and debugging.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives for assigned projects.
• Perform maintenance installations upgrades and other technical duties associated with the support of product applications and/or product systems platforms.
• Be responsible for toptier implementation and integration with backend databases.
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and factfinding to develop or modify internal business systems.

Experience you will need:

• Experience and solid understanding of various cloud engineering practices.
• Experience translating cloud requirements and design solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of networking concepts and handson experience working with networking technologies.
• Basic networking troubleshooting knowledge.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Azure Active Directory and cloudspecific identity and access management (users groups roles permissions).
• Cloud routing peering internet ingress and egress cloud network design skills; global/geo load balancing; network security groups.
• Strong rolebased access design skills.
• Strategies for managing quotas and limits.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud services associated with the job role.
• Knowledge of pros cons and implications of implementing various cloud services.
• Advanced knowledge of platformspecific logging and monitoring services; design of logging and monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate and create cloud governance policies.
• Create advanced modular parameterized pipelines using cloudnative tools.
• Fluency in rolespecific programming languages (Terraform CloudFormation ARM Python YAML C# PowerShell Linux shell etc.); ability to create advanced IaC modules and reusable functions.
• Advanced design skills including modularity reliability and parameterization.
• Deep understanding of modern software development testing strategies (e.g. Test Driven Development).
• Thorough understanding of API design objectives and implementation techniques.
