Job Description

We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Bookkeeper to manage all of our financial transactions and uphold our financial records. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in bookkeeping a meticulous attention to detail and a comprehensive grasp of financial principles.

This position is remote and only applicants located in the United States will be considered.

The successful candidate will have a direct reporting line to the Finance Manager and will collaborate closely with other team members.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daytoday bookkeeping tasks such as managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Verify bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Ensure payroll is processed with precision and punctuality.

Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.

Oversee financial transactions and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Provide support in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager to facilitate financial decisionmaking.

It is important to uphold the utmost confidentiality when it comes to financial information and to exercise prudence in all financial matters.

Use accounting software to document financial transactions and produce reports.

Offer assistance with audits and tax preparation as required.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Bookkeeper is required.

Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.

Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks Xero or other similar platforms.

Impressive analytical and problemsolving abilities.

Demonstrates a strong sense of autonomy and the ability to efficiently manage task prioritization.

Emphasizing the importance of effective communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Having a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly advantageous.

Prior experience in specific industry is highly valued although it is not an absolute requirement.

It is required that the applicant is located in the United States and has the capability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection.
