We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer you will be responsible for the development implementation and maintenance of the serverside logic and systems that power our web applications. Your expertise in programming languages such as .NET and Node.js as well as your familiarity with web services development will play a crucial role in delivering highquality and scalable backend solutions.

Functions
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and maintain serverside applications and APIs.
- Write efficient clean and maintainable code using programming languages preferred C# .NET Core. Other programming languages are a plus such as Node.js Python Java.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs based on functional documentation ensuring adherence to HTTP protocol and best practices.
- Utilise serverside frameworks and technologies such as ASP.NET Django and Flask to build robust and scalable web services.
- Work with relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Redis) to design implement and optimise data models and queries.
- Utilise version control systems particularly Git to manage codebase and collaborate with other developers effectively.
- Deploy and configure web servers including Apache and Nginx ensuring seamless operation and high performance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AWS deployment including knowledge of load balancing caching and other relevant services.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to backend development and continuously enhance your technical skills.
- Familiar with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to enable efficient deployment and management of applications.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field of study.
- At least 5 years of experience as Backend developers
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C# .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of web services development including HTTP protocol RESTful APIs and writing API specifications.
- Experience with serverside frameworks and technologies like ASP.NET Django and Flask.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.
- Proficiency in version control systems particularly Git.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins and related plugins.
- Experience with deployment and configuration of web servers including Apache and Nginx.
- Strong knowledge of AWS deployment load balancing and caching.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and selfdriven approach.
- Passion for changing how healthcare is delivered in women and children health.
- Willingness to work overtime to achieve tight deadlines and demands.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic embracing the demands of tight deadlines and high expectations. Strives to meet project objectives with dedication and efficiency.
- Other programming languages are a plus such as Node.js Python Java.
