Solution Architect

For our client one of the worlds largest manufacturers of components for the automotive industry we are looking for a Solution Architect in Germany Frankfurt am Main.

Within the automotive industry it is one of the leading global manufacturers of exterior rearview mirrors wiring harnesses and polymer modules and has a diversified industryleading portfolio of auto ancillary products and services that make it a full system solutions provider for its customers across the globe.

Services Required:

• Technical Architecture & Risk Management:

• Develop the technical architecture based on project requirements and coordinate and monitor its implementation.
  
• Define hardware and software requirements.
  
• Implement risk management by evaluating and documenting technical risks and providing advice on options for risk mitigation.
  
• Conduct reviews of design code and tests ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  
• Provide consulting services for implementing technical architecture in software development.
  
• Develop effort estimates for the technical solution.

• Consulting & Strategic Leadership:

• Advise the client on the technical architecture (strategy) of IT systems focusing on the thematic environment and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Promote and drive the implementation of technological strategies architectural knowledge exchange innovation and standardization within the project.
• Provide communication and technical/methodological support in project management.
• Lead workshops on technical architecture topics and present technically complex topics to stakeholders.
• Provide technical management of software development activities.

• Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience:
• At least 5 years of practical experience in the last 8 years with documented proof of at least 1 project reference lasting at least 6 months in a large SAP application (guideline: > 5000 users and > 50 functional interfaces) in a senior role.
• Expert Knowledge:
• Excellent and proven indepth knowledge of SAP development including modules and customizing in SAP PM.
• Strong understanding of application architectures in highly complex and highly available system environments with a large number of interfaces.
• Very good knowledge of consulting methods particularly in vehicle maintenance at an EVU (railway company).

• Experience in strategic consulting in projects related to vehicle maintenance at an energy supplier.
  
• Excellent ability in crosssystem error analysis within IT maintenance processes.
• Very good ability to read SAP programs (debugging).
• Indepth understanding of business processes related to vehicle maintenance in an EVU (railway company).
• Extensive methodological knowledge and several years of experience in applying these methodologies
