- Visual appeal / Merchandising of the store.
KEY TASKS:
- Shop / Store Maintenance:
- Participate in the daytoday running of the store.
- Ensure the store and displays are clean and tidy at all times.
- Receiving deliveries unpacking and reshelving or storing stock on the managers instruction.
- Replenishing shelves.
- Assist with regular stock checks and stock takes.
- Assist in changing displays of shop stock.
- Being vigilant at all times and help minimize stock loss.
- Sales / Transactions:
- Operating the till and accurately handling cash/card transactions under the managers supervision or instruction.
- Assist with cashing up procedures.
- Meeting sales targets on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Customer Service:
- Assisting customers with locating merchandise offering advice and answering queries or concerns.
- Keeping up to date with product knowledge.
- Informing the public of any sales or new stock.
- Constantly update customer base.
- General:
- Opening and closing of the store.
- Refer any issues regarding customer care to the store manager.
- Housekeeping.
- Adhere to Health and Safety practices/codes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Any adhoc duties as required from time to time.
