Project Objectives:

Provision of Services:

o Services are provided in accordance with the agreed standards and specifications of the client (framework agreement process model further specifications if necessary).

o Ensure the quality of the developed software code.

Programming/Implementation/Customizing:

o Technical components in applications based on the technologies used including associated interfaces modules and corresponding databases in compliance with the client's standards (e.g. use of standardized development environments and programming guidelines).

o Correcting errors from the test phases in the applications/components.

o Documentation of technical components and system documentation.

o Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications CAM SD and FplV.

o Use of development environments including continuous integration.

o Conducting code reviews component tests module tests and module group tests.

o Preparation of decision templates on technical topics.

o Presentations on technically complex topics.

o Reporting of risks and problems to the technical architects and project management.

Services Required:

Technical Design:

o Based on customer requirements.

o Implementation of customer requirements based on detailed technical concepts.

Middleware Replacement:

o Replacement of the existing middleware for client connection with a connection via web services (provider and requester under CICS Transaction Server).

o Mandatory Requirements:

o Qualification:

At least 5 years of practical experience in Cobol development.

Current knowledge of software development technologies: Cobol CICS MQ DB2 web server.

o Experience:

Several years of experience in implementing technical solutions in freight transport.

Extensive knowledge of methods and several years of experience in their application (OOA and OOD in UML2 software development process models such as Waterfall RUP Vmodel Scrum XP and Agile).

o Skills:

Use of development environments including continuous integration.

Conducting code reviews component tests module tests and module group tests.

Documentation and creation of delivery packages for relevant applications.

Experience:

o At least 5 years of practical experience in software development documented in the CV.

o Experience in establishing and using quality assurance processes and procedures.

o Experience in railway companies with rail and freight transport.

Skills:

o Proven experience with agile methods like Scrum SAFe etc.

o Methodological competence modeling process models.

o Proven experience in developing modern software architectures and replacing existing legacy systems.

Proven Experience:

o At least 2 years of proven experience in relevant fields.
