Position Overview:

As a Structural Engineer you will be responsible for designing analyzing and implementing structural systems for various types of construction projects. You will use engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination and structural design services and models for customers. This role requires collaboration with project teams to address challenges and develop effective solutions while ensuring structural integrity safety and adherence to project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Analysis: Develop wellutilized designs of members and connections for detailing and manufacturing that meet customer requirements and focus on achieving department objectives profitability goals and continuous improvement.
  
• Structural Integrity: Assure the structural integrity and safety of buildings by employing rigorous engineering practices.
  
• Knowledge Development: Develop and maintain basic product and procedure knowledge and continuously improve technical expertise.
  
• Customer Service: Ensure that customer design service needs are met by adhering to design schedules and providing highquality solutions.
  
• Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams to discuss problems and challenges creating costeffective and efficient solutions to advance projects.
  
• Technical Reports: Prepare and present detailed technical reports including design calculations specifications and construction documents.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a highperformance work team focused on achieving department objectives and continuous improvement.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  
• Preferred: Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  
• Experience: Structural engineering experience with a proven track record of successful project design and management.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. ETABS AutoCAD) and design tools. Knowledge of building codes standards and regulations.
  
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present technical information clearly to nonengineering stakeholders.
  
• ProblemSolving: Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
  
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
