Job Title: Automation Software Engineer
Type: Contract
Level: MidLevel
Location: Vancouver BC (Onsite)
Workplace: Hybrid (3 days instudio remote 2 days)
Duration: ASAP to 18 months with possibility of extension

3. Summary of the opportunity
Client Overview: The Coalition is a flagship firstparty studio within Xbox Game Studios known for the critically acclaimed Gears of War series. The team consists of diverse and talented individuals working towards pushing the limits of Microsofts entertainment platform and devices.
Role Summary: As an Automation Software Engineer you will have a direct impact on the next generation of great games and experiences. You will contribute to the development and deployment of Automated Tests as well as the planning and maintenance of automated testing infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in optimizing automation services for AAA scale distributed development.
4. What are the key responsibilities
Develop and deploy Automated Tests for game development and testing processes.
Collaborate with Engine Leads QA Lead and Producers to drive the planning implementation and maintenance of automated testing infrastructure.
Communicate with peers and partners to ensure the thoroughness and efficiency of test automation tools.
Continuously optimize automation services and tools for AAA scale distributed development.
Contribute to crossteam collaboration and actively participate in improving best practices.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success
MUSTHave Skills and Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
Experience in DevOps services.
Strong webbased technologies development skills.
Crossteam collaboration experience.
Proficiency in C# and Python for tool development.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Unreal Engine or similar game engines.
Familiarity with Azure or similar Cloud Services.
