UXUI Analyst

Our company is a leading provider of free WiFi content portals in South Africa. We offer users access to a variety of engaging applications and services within our portal while monetising our free WiFi through advertising partnerships with some of the countrys most recognised brands. We are looking for a passionate and datadriven UX/UI Analyst/Product Strategist to join our team and play a crucial role in optimising our platforms user experience and driving user engagement.

The UX/UI Analyst/Product Strategist will be responsible for analysing user data and behaviour to identify opportunities for improving the platforms user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). They will work closely with the product team to translate insights into actionable improvements enhancing the platforms usability accessibility and overall user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and User Research: Conduct indepth analysis of user data including usage patterns clickstream data heatmaps and user feedback to identify areas for improvement in the platforms UX/UI.

• User Behavior Analysis: Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methods to understand user motivations needs and pain points and develop user personas to guide product strategy and decisionmaking.

• UX/UI Optimization: Identify and implement UX/UI improvements that enhance the platforms usability accessibility and overall user satisfaction.

• A/B Testing and Experimentation: Design and implement A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of UX/UI changes on user behaviour and key metrics.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of UX/UI improvements into the product development lifecycle. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

• Product Strategy: Contribute to the overall product strategy by providing insights and recommendations based on user data and research.

• Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices and apply them to the platform.

Requirements:

• Strong Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyse complex data sets and extract actionable insights.

• Deep Understanding of UX/UI: Comprehensive knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices with the ability to evaluate and critique designs from a usercentric perspective.

• User Research Expertise: Experience conducting user research including interviews surveys and usability testing.

• Data Visualization: Proficiency in using data visualisation tools to communicate findings effectively.

• ProblemSolving: Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to identify creative solutions to UX/UI challenges.

• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

• Proactive and SelfMotivated: A selfstarter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

• Passion for UX/UI: A genuine passion for creating userfriendly and engaging digital experiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as HumanComputer Interaction (HCI) User Experience Design Psychology or a related discipline.

• 3 years of experience in a UX/UI analysis or product strategy role.

• Experience working with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics Mixpanel) and A/B testing platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the advertising or media industry.

• Familiarity with user research tools and methodologies.

• Experience working with wireframing and prototyping tools.
