Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing financial data creating financial models and providing actionable insights to support strategic decisionmaking. This position requires strong analytical skills proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling: Develop maintain and improve complex financial models to forecast business performance evaluate financial scenarios and support strategic planning.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts comparing actual results to budgeted figures and explaining variances.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify trends risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Market Research: Conduct industry and market research to support strategic initiatives and competitive analysis.
• Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities mergers acquisitions and other business development initiatives.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and profitability across different business units or projects identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Strategic Support: Work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the companys goals.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes reporting and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. Masters degree or CFA certification is a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in financial analysis preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong experience in financial modeling data analysis and financial reporting.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g. Excel SAP Oracle) and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software.
  • Industryspecific financial analysis experience.
