Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role you will work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop tailored technical solutions that meet those needs. As a Solutions Engineer you will leverage your technical expertise and industry knowledge to support the sales process deliver product demonstrations and provide postsales support to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and develop customized solutions that address their business challenges.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions to potential customers.
    • Provide technical expertise during the sales process addressing customer questions and concerns regarding product functionality integration and deployment.
  • Solution Development & Design:

    • Design and configure solutions that align with customer requirements ensuring scalability performance and security.
    • Create detailed solution proposals including architecture diagrams implementation plans and cost estimates.
    • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence product development.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers acting as a trusted advisor to help them maximize the value of our solutions.
    • Participate in customer meetings workshops and training sessions to ensure successful adoption and usage of products.
    • Provide postsales support including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research & Industry Knowledge:

    • Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions.
    • Participate in industry events conferences and webinars to represent the company and showcase our expertise.
    • Contribute to the development of marketing materials case studies and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a solutions engineering technical sales or a related role.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of software development cloud computing and enterprise software solutions.
    • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python Java C#) and web technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g. SQL NoSQL) and API integration.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to system architecture security and performance.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
    • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
