Senior IT Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Architect to join our dynamic IT team. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with our business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT architecture systems integration and enterpriselevel solution design. As a Senior IT Architect you will lead technical initiatives mentor team members and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Design & Development:
  • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable secure and highperformance IT architectures including applications infrastructure and networks.
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards guidelines and best practices to ensure alignment with industry standards and business requirements.
  • Create and document architecture blueprints including system diagrams data flow diagrams and technical specifications.
• Technical Leadership & Strategy:
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to project teams ensuring alignment with architectural principles and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Systems Integration & Collaboration:
  • Lead efforts to integrate systems and applications across the enterprise ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Collaborate with software development network engineering and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs.
  • Participate in project planning requirements gathering and solution design activities to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
• Risk Management & Compliance:
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technology solutions ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement security and data governance practices to protect sensitive information and maintain data integrity.
  • Conduct regular reviews of architecture and technology solutions to ensure ongoing compliance and performance.
• Mentorship & Team Development:
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and technical team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the teams technical skills and knowledge of architectural best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the IT architecture team by sharing knowledge experiences and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT architecture systems design or related roles with a strong focus on enterprise solutions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF Zachman) and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and onpremises infrastructure design.
  • Familiarity with software development practices including Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g. SQL NoSQL) and data architecture design.
  • Knowledge of security principles data governance and compliance standards.
• Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Architect (CISA) AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF certification are preferred.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
