Job Summary:

The Specialist HR, Shared Services for MENA will be responsible for supporting and coordinating HR activities across multiple countries within the MENA region. This role focuses on ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance with local regulations, and delivering high-quality HR services to employees and managers. The Specialist will collaborate with various HR teams, manage HR systems, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Operations:
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations for MENA countries, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations and keep updated about changes in HR laws and regulations in MENA countries.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the region.
  • Ensure HR Shared Services processes comply with local legal requirements.
  • Employee Services:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and managers in MENA countries.
  • Assist employees with HR-related issues, such as benefits, payroll, and leave management.
  • Coordinate with the HR team to resolve complex employee issues.
  • Proactively follow up on urgent matters, implementing effective solutions to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Collaborate closely with customers/employees to ensure their satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and internal stakeholders in the MENA region.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across diverse cultures within the MENA region.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to ensure seamless coordination between Shared Services and other HR functions.
  • Provide support to the regional HR Shared Services team members.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and assist them with their queries.
  • HR Systems and Reporting:
    • Maintain and update HR information systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data.
    • Generate and analyze HR reports.
    • Support the implementation and maintenance of HR technology solutions.
    • Oversee end-to-end HR Shared Services processes, including employee lifecycle management, data entry, and compliance, ensuring operational excellence.
    • Handling the time and attendance activities
    • Handling the Service requests and fulfilling them through Ivanti in a timely manner.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives:
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and services.
  • Support the implementation of regional and global HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve HR objectives.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably within the MENA region.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and local labor laws.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
