Key points

Objective: Ensure the smooth and timely importation of goods.
Metrics: Lead time clearance time schedule adherence and cost efficiency.
Coordinate with the Transporter and Responsible for tracking the consignment and
CHA for goods clearing.
The original documents are sent to CHA for customs filling.
Prepare to dispatch schedule or goods forward the same to CHA & inform the priority
material.
Follow up with Warehouse and CHA for the dispatching of goods accordingly.
Tracking the consignment till it reaches the destination & informing the delay/ early
reaching of the consignment to the customer with reason.
Making order summary reports for superior followup.
Generate Eway Bills for Import.
Knowledge of Highseas sales and documentation.
Develop and maintain relationships with Shipping Lines freight forwarders and other
logistics partners.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with import logistics such as delays damage or
loss of goods.
