Tasks

• Design develop and maintain highquality COBOL applications and systems.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in existing COBOL applications.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with COBOL in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and transaction processing systems.
• Proficiency in debugging troubleshooting and optimizing COBOL code.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
