Tasks

We need an enthusiastic Financial Accountant to become part of our fastgrowing team as we continue to onboard new clients.

Working within the core team supporting a team of Management Accountants who manage our entire portfolio your role will be to assist in the completion of Statutory Accounts for a range of clients.

You will play a critical role in collating creating and submitting accurate statutory accounts across the portfolio to relevant bodies.

Day to day the work will span the preparation and submission of accurate accounts promptly at yearend to assist with tax planning preparation of Annual Accounts Corporation Tax returns SelfAssessments and the necessary maintenance and administration required.

Youll be responsible for handling any client queries that may arise relevant to statutory accounts ensuring our clients are informed and feel supported.

As your skills and knowledge develops youll have the opportunity and support to move into a more senior position or even a leadership role if you can prove yourself.

Requirements

First and foremost youll be experienced in preparing and delivering Statutory Accounts within a practice or industry setting.

You are need to be comfortable with client interaction and proactive in communicating with clients and/or stakeholders.

To that extent youll be keen to build good relationships with stakeholders. Well want to hear about why this is important to you as a Financial Accountant.

Its important that you are able to work to strict deadlines. Youll be able to talk about the deadlines youve worked to in the past and you ensured they were met.

As an Accountant you will have worked within the Microsoft Office suite and be an expert with Excel for accounting purposes. Well want to hear about the various elements and formulas youve used within Excel and specifically your knowledge of Lookups and Pivot Tables.

Youll need to be adaptive and able to learn quickly with an interest in new technology/cloud software.

We dont mind where your knowledge comes from. You may be qualified by experience only but we are particularly interested in candidates who are part qualified ACCA CIMA or AAT.

We use Xero for 100% of our portfolio knowledge of Xero is highly desirable but not essential as training and certification can be provided.
