Full Stack Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

BOT VFX a postproduction services company in the entertainment industry with global clients is looking for a midlevel position Full Stack Developer on a permanent role basis. This role involves planning and development of a Web Application. Will be responsible for coordinating with Product Manager Business Analyst Peer Developers to spearhead the overall development process and smooth release. Primary responsibility would be to design DM API and guide other junior level developers.
This role reports to the Sr. Architect and dotted line basis to the Product Manager.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY

• Frontend technology: They should know basic frontend languages like HTML CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge about validation responsiveness and user experience is a must. Should have strong knowledge in React Javascript Library
• Backend technology: They must know about APIs databases and server configuration. They must have knowledge of Node JS libraries such as Express.js Nest JS or Fastify JS.
• Database and cache: Knowledge of DBMS systems such as MySQL MSSQLServer MongoDB as well as caching technologies like Redis Memcached.
• Design: They should have knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design.
• Server: working with Nginx or Apache servers and having a strong Linux foundation
• Conceptualize design and build web applications by turning wireframes into effective codes
• Work through the complete software development lifecycle from scratch to launch
• Design userbased interactions through an impactful frontend architecture framework
• Develop functional databases applications and servers
• Code for various platforms to ensure functionality across multiple channels
• Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
• Manage database administration and hosting responsibilities
• Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed
• Collaborate across time zones via jira confluence documents and video conferences as required

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge in MySQL Tables Views Stored Procedures & Triggers
• Knowledge in NodeJS & REST protocol. Candidates with strong NodeJS skills will be preferred.
• Knowledge in Typescript
• Strong HTMLCSS & JavaScript ES6 Foundation.
• Knowledge in ReactJS especially the newer React Hooks Should have strong knowledge in React
• Knowledge in interacting with the REST Api from front end react app
• Good understanding of Single Page React application (SPA) and Route Handling in SPA
