ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the job of an Electrical Draftsman is to support the electrical engineering and construction processes by creating detailed and accurate technical drawings plans and schematics. These drawings serve as critical references for engineers electricians and construction teams to ensure the correct installation maintenance and operation of electrical systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create detailed electrical drawings for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure drawings meet project specifications.
• Revise and update electrical drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation and specifications related to electrical systems.
• Conduct quality checks on electrical drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with other draftsmen and project team members as necessary.
• Maintain organized documentation and drawing files for reference.

KEY QUALIFICATION:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Experience in electrical drafting for infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles and standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capacity to work within a team environment and meet project deadlines.
