Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing market trends identifying business opportunities and providing insights to support strategic decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis excellent problemsolving skills and a deep understanding of the agricultural commodities market.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends opportunities and threats in the agricultural commodities market.
Gather and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate with sales operations and finance teams to support datadriven decisionmaking.
Create detailed reports and presentations for senior management to support strategic planning.
Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities and partnerships.
Monitor and report on market developments regulatory changes and competitor activities.
Assist in the development of business strategies and plans to achieve company objectives.
Support the implementation of new business processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Business Actuarial science Economics Finance Agriculture or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis preferably within the agricultural commodities industry.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Power BI Tableau).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of the agricultural commodities market and supply chain is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to speak French and English fluently
Willingness to travel as needed.
