We are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for one of our clients.
Client Overview:
Our client is a leading restaurant chain in Colombo committed to providing an exceptional dining experience through quality service and a wellmaintained environment. To support their operations they are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician specializing in freezer air conditioning and other essential equipment maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with expertise in freezer air conditioning refrigeration and other kitchen equipment repairs.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems electrical circuits and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and diagrams.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools diagnostic equipment and power tools.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with the clients team and external vendors.
- Relevant certification or technical training in HVAC refrigeration or electrical systems is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular inspections maintenance and repairs of freezers air conditioning units refrigeration systems and other kitchen equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with electrical mechanical and HVAC systems providing prompt solutions to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth operation.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all relevant equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the lifespan of the machinery.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond quickly to emergency repair requests ensuring that critical equipment is restored to working order with minimal disruption to the clients operations.
- Installation & Upgrades: Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades ensuring proper setup and functionality according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work including parts used and time spent to ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety regulations.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and suppliers for parts procurement warranty services and specialized repairs when necessary.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
