We are seeking a Project Superintendent with experience in K12/Higher Education GC/CM and DesignBuild projects. The ideal candidate will oversee manage and coordinate the safe timely and efficient operation of all onsite personnel and activities from project inception through completion. This role requires close involvement with every aspect of the projects inner and outer mechanics working closely with both trade partners and company field personnel. As a key component to the projects success you will play a crucial role in ensuring its smooth execution. Requirements
Annual Salary Range: $125000 to $150000
Field Supervision / Planning:
Supervise all onsite craft field personnel and subcontractors.
Plan daily work activities to avoid conflicts or omissions maintaining optimal crew size workflow and material flow consistent with schedule and budget.
Coordinate subcontractor activities and major material deliveries.
Communicate project progress and plans with Field Foremen to foster a cohesive team vision and common goals.
Collaborate with the Project Manager on scheduling company equipment and tool use through the company s rental system and work with the Project Engineer to maintain an equipment rental log.
Purchase necessary supplies and oversee all field operations including tracking issues and questions.
Manage the hiring of field personnel.
Review project plans specifications and jobsite conditions during preconstruction.
Generate and submit daily reports.
Scheduling:
Work closely with the Project Manager to create the initial project schedule and monitor actual work progress.
Coordinate construction methods and procedures with the Project Manager at the start of each phase assessing if more efficient methods are possible with mutual agreement among the Superintendent Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on project methods labor material and equipment requirements.
Produce and distribute Short Interval Schedules regularly throughout the project and review them during daily huddles and weekly foreman meetings.
Job Knowledge:
Experience in K12/higher education GC/CM and DesignBuild projects.
Familiar with plans understanding specifications and assessing jobsite conditions at the preconstruction stage.
Requirements of the general work and that of all trade partners.
Budget subcontracts and material contracts.
Project general and special conditions; awareness of subcontractor and supplier scopes and the contractual obligations of each.
Safety:
Ensure all onsite personnel adhere to company safety policies and OSHA/WISHA standards during onsite work.
